These are our opinions and pictures of some short vacations we've taken.  They're provided because when we searched for information about these areas, all we found were pages from the Chamber of Commerce or from the businesses themselves ... we couldn't find info from people who were spending money, instead of taking it.

For full disclosure, it should be noted the author of these pages is from Texas, and we believe in Southern Hospitality.  I (Ray) am now handicapped and can barely walk, so I pay more attention to accessibility than I used to.  As we own several small businesses, we believe in taking care of the customer, so we expect customer service when we go into a business, as well.  I am a former business traveler, and am a "Million Miler" on a major airline, so I spent years of my life dealing with planes, rental car companies, hotels, and restaurants.
